Public Safety Dispatch Center


The Clinton Public Safety Dispatch Center is equipped to process all routine and emergency calls for service for the Clinton Police, Fire, and EMS services. The Dispatch center also receives emergency calls for the Department of Public Works and Animal Control Officer. Our Dispatch Center is staffed with a minimum of two Civilian Public Safety Dispatchers per 8-hour shift, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Professional Certifications and Continued Educational Training

All of our civilian Dispatchers are certified Public Safety Telecommunicators specializing in Emergency Enhanced 9-1-1 in accordance with Massachusetts State 9-1-1 department. Public Safety Dispatchers are trained in rapid emergency response, poise under pressure, and compassion in a time of distress, with critical decision-making skills. Continued Educational services are routinely provided.

Massachusetts Equipment Distribution Program:


If you live with a disability, the Massachusetts Equipment Distribution Program (MassEDP) may be able to provide you with a specialized telephone network. Depending on your income level, these telephones may come for free or at a reduced cost. 

MassEDP only provides home telephones with land line service.
