Census information
Census Forms should be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office no later then June 1, to avoid voters being put on the Inactive Voter List.
State Law requires that a census form is filled out and sent back every year for every household in Clinton. The census forms are sent in January and should be sent back within 10 days to the Town Clerk’s Office, even if no changes are necessary. Failure to respond to this mailing for 2 consecutive years shall result in removal from the active voting list and may result in the removal from the voter registration rolls according to the MGL Ch. 51 Sec.4(c)
Residents should notify the Town Clerk if there is any change to their primary residence location so records can be adjusted, within Clinton or out of town.
