Annual Town Election Information - Nomination papers for offices to be elected at the Annual Town Election will be available to candidates starting Monday, April 4, 2016 until Monday, April 25, 2016 in the Office of Town Clerk at Clinton Town Hall from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Monday through Friday. Truss Construction By-Law Notice - Voters of the Town of Clinton adopted a by-law at the Special Town Meeting held on January 30, 2016 requiring residential, commercial and industrial buildings that utilize truss type construction shall be marked by an emblem that informs persons conducting fire control and other emergency operations of the existence of truss construction. This bylaw has been approved by the Office of the Attorney General. Any claim of invalidity by reason of any defecting the procedure of adoption or amendment may only be made within ninety days of the second publication of this notice. Copies of the By-Law may be examined or copies may be made at the Office of the Town Clerk, Clinton Town Hall, 242 Church Street, Clinton MA between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. – Monday through Friday. Clinton Housing Improvement Program - The Town of Clinton seeks to re-establish the Clinton Housing Improvement Program (CHIP). If funded, this program will assist eligible owners who wish to make needed repairs to their properties. There are eligibility requirements, but if you are a property owner who wishes to know more, please click here for a pre-application form. Rubbish & Recycle Collection Program - The Town of Clinton has modified its rubbish collection program to include curbside recycling. Green recycle carts were delivered to properties over the summer and the Department of Public Works will be collecting the recycled material every other week according to the following schedule: Recycle Collection Calendar for 2015-2016. Residents should wheel the recycle carts to the edge of their property for pickup along with their trash on the recycle collection weeks.
